Dr. Vishnu Nanduri is Head of AI and Innovation, ASEAN and Korea at Kyndryl, where he leads the ASEAN AI Innovation Lab in Singapore, launched in June 2025 with Google Cloud and Digital Industry Singapore. His work centers on taking agentic AI from pilot to production, with governance designed in from the start.

Before this regional role, he was Director, Data and AI at Kyndryl, one of the leaders who built its global AI and GenAI practice. At Accenture he led insurance AI for Southeast Asia. As Regional Head of AI and Analytics for Munich Re in Asia, he owned AI strategy for the non-life business, ran the Regional Analytics Center for Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, and India, and led the launch of an image-based motor claims product. At Prudential Corporation Asia he led predictive analytics and put many models into production across Prudential. Earlier he led data science practices at IBM and Impetus.

He began as a researcher. He holds a PhD and MS in industrial engineering from the University of South Florida, where his work on reinforcement learning and game theory in electricity markets won the Outstanding Dissertation Award. He was a tenure-track professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and received its College of Engineering teaching excellence award. He is an adjunct lecturer at the NUS Institute of Systems Science, mentors NUS business analytics students and InsurTech founders through Plug and Play APAC, and speaks across Asia, Europe, and the United States.
