Welcome to my space on the web. I am an AI and Analytics leader with over 15 years of experience in Reinforcement Learning, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, optimization, and simulation. Over the last two decades, I have lived in three different countries, worked in numerous roles as a researcher, professor, data scientist, and as a leader building and mentoring large data science teams. I have been fortunate to work in some of the best organizations in the world and with some of the brightest people.
Currently, I am the Head of Data Analytics for the Non-Life business of Munich Re for the region of Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, and India. Previously, I was a Senior Manager for Predictive Analytics / Data Science at Prudential Corporation @ Singapore, where I worked on several exciting new big data analytics projects in the primary insurance domain. I also worked at IBM, Impetus, and was a tenure-track assistant professor at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the US. I received my Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of South Florida. My doctoral research focused on reinforcement learning, game theory, and stochastic optimization, and their application to the energy and electricity industry.
